The Finance (No. 2) Bill, 2024 receives President's assent

The President of India Mrs. Droupadi Murmu on Friday, 16th August 2024, gave her assent to the Finance (No. 2) Bill of 2024, which was approved by Lok Sabha on 07th August last week.

With this, the Finance Bill (No. 2), 2024 as passed by Parliament has been enacted into Finance Act (No. 2), 2024. This completes the entire budget exercise for FY 2024-25.
